Taco, everyone’s favorite character in the Saltcliff Inn Mysteries, is based on Nancy’s dog, Charlie Taco. Though Nancy’s dog doesn’t sniff out allergens, he is extremely skilled at sniffing out treats, sounding very intimidating whenever the UPS man comes to the door, and also at receiving snuggles.
